I'm loving this! I was reading it and laughing to myself because the first thing that drew me in was the picture of Accel on the cover of the 2nd volume on their booth this weekend at Otakon. I even said that was why. But after I bought it, I was so glad that I did. I love this story and I can't wait for more updates to it. Faye is so cute and mysterious, Accel is proving to be tougher than I imagined and he's hilarious, and I like Kaden's character too. The art is beautiful and I love the cute little faces they make! Can't wait for more!

This story caught me and dragged me in from the very beginning. There is just something so captivating about Faye that makes you like her immediately. I almost wish she were a real person so I could offer to help her out. I find myself hanging on every page and wondering about Accel\'s back story as much as Faye\'s. When did they first meet, who is he running from, who else is trying to catch him and why, are Faye\'s dreams actually foretelling of the future?

A full year has passed while I followed this comic and I didn\'t even realize that I had been following it that long. The artwork is wonderful, how the artist manages to convey so much emotion and personality without her ever saying a word is remarkable. It\'s a 5 star must read in my book and I personally will be looking forward to many more years to come from Amya!

I really like Amya, the art work is really good and the plot is definitely entertaining. I find it fascinating that one of the main characters is a mute, it is not something that is commonly done. but the excellent way in which she is drawn makes clear everything the reader needs to know, while giving her an air of mystery. I can't wait to see more of the story

The art of this comic alone (the beauty of the characters, great movement, decent expressions) make it worth reading, but the story is what draws you in. The rating below me comments on the parallels between Full Metal Alchemist, which I can definitely agree with, but its not a negative thing (like copying) its a positive thing (cultivating ideas from a great work of sequential art).
The only thing I would have to say bothers me, and it is a major flaw, is the extreme lack of character development of Faye. I realize that she is mute, but so far we've only learned that she is scared of things, is very spell touched, and (unnatural for her character background) simply allows herself to get swept up in a random boy's dangerous adventures. She asks absolutely no questions, and her biggest worry seems to be the mice in her closet... And this is especially odd, seeing as when she first met Accel she told him to move away from her because it was unbecoming for a lady to be seen with a commoner. She has become a very unbelievable character, I hope that you salvage her character soon.

Response: Posted by Kat Kerns: Actually I think that like Accel, you misunderstood Faye\'s sign language. She wasn\'t telling him that they had to part because he was a commoner, she was telling him that she was reading a book and got separated from her guardian. At no point was she standoffish from him. When she grabbed his face to look intently at him it was to confirm that they had actually met before. That is why she asked him if he had ever stayed at her fathers house, perhaps some time ago.

Amya is a very unique web comic with a theme that plays between fantasy and steampunk. The art style is slightly reminiscent of the Fire Emblem series of games, while the world which the comic is set in seems to borrow elements from Full Metal Alchemist. Amya has been ongoing for almost a year and has almost two chapters completed. The story has plenty of room to expand and after two chapters it's easy to imagine that we're quickly headed for something massive. A great story, amazingly clean art, and great characters add up for a favorite comic that everyone should add to their list. Also, I must add that the author(s) and artist do a great job of keeping the comic updating on a regular basis, this is a huge plus in the world of web comics.

Amya is an amazing comic. I've been following it since the beginning, and I just love the art and the story. I am really wrapped up in wondering what is going to happen next. Waiting for updates is hard, but you are very good about updating on time, which is amazing. I would, and do, recommend anyone who is into web comics to read it.

Amya is a stunning webcomic, and though it is still in its early stages, it has wonderful art and a great story that is just waiting to unfold. The first sequence is an amazing start, with powerful imagery that sets the mood to get you hooked. When the two main characters meet, it is a bit hard to follow for a moment, but it also encourages the sense of urgency that is needed to set them in motion. What really astonishes me is how well the story puts emphasis on illustrating expression. Though one of the characters is mute, she still plays a large roll and expresses herself through so many creative means. This is definitely a comic you won't regret reading.

Very beginning dream sequence=sweet! Right after that was a tiny bit confusing, but the art and the idea are so awesome that it kept me hooked. I am loving the movement and fight scenes, I think they are very well drawn. I am caught up in the story and I wait impatiently for updates. Also, I would love to see a color page for chapter fronts :)
