I hope you are having a wonderful week! Our town has been pretty much shut down for two days from snow- may you be having a warmer time than us!
Not exactly the most competent group of jailors. So, we know Faye can turn invisible to sneak away, but I wonder, can she also leave an illusion of herself cowering in a corner of the cell, to buy herself that much more time?
I believe that’s a possibility. Remember the knight she conjured up in Chapter 2?
Not very bright, are they? LOOK KEYS ON THE FLOOR! :D
The real question is, can she reach them with that shackle on her leg?
I should think so–her cell doesn’t look all that big. Maybe what we should be worried about is whether that door can be unlocked from the inside.
Key or no key, door unlocked or no door unlocked, I thought she was actually shacked to *something*. Maybe not. Anyway, I hope one of those keys is to the shackles.
Yes, the other end of the shackle has a bedpost threaded through it. If the bed can be lifted then Faye’s jailors are REALLY incompetent – unless there’s some sort of “wheels within wheels” thingy going on here and someone really WANTS her to escape – or try to do so. :)
The bed looks like it’s bolted to the floor.
This is correct!
Psionicost is correct!
Alas, how hope canst blind thee, O my soul… ;) (I just realized who I was writing to – if the authors don’t know, no one does.)
“You must have really ticked him off.” Yeah, that would’ve been my first guess too. :P
But “ticked off”? What kind of high-fantasy villainous mask-wearing personage says “ticked off”, hm? ;)
Depending on the who’s doing the talking, there’s been a heavy mix of modern words and idioms throughout the comic. Ain’t nothin’ new to Amya, I think.
Yeah, I noticed. :) But “ticked off” got my attention more than the others so far. Why? Probably because I’d blow my cover as a spy in some medieval fantasy universe by using that very phrase in a stressful situation. :)
Maybe Mime-Mage just has a penchant for needless rhetoric.
Doors don’t go ‘click’ Quick! Try and pull up the bottom like its a blind!
Doors don’t, but locks do. That was Adas and “masked man” locking the door behind them.
Forget that guy, did you get the key?
Just found this today but I love it! Can’t wait for the next update <3
