Hello everyone,

I decided just to forgo posting news on Saturday and moved it to today.

Interesting note, there are only eight more pages left in chapter one! The first chapter will be available in printed format sometime in June; I will post a more exact release date next month when we have a clearer picture on how things are rolling.

I am thrilled with how the comic has been progressing so far. We’ve poured a lot of heart into it and it’s great to get the response that we have. Closing our first chapter is something I’m really excited about. More so, I’m excited about what is to come! Chapter two is definitely going to be a blast, and I can’t wait to start sharing it.

I feel like I’m starting to ramble, and perhaps that’s because I’m running off two hours of sleep. So I better cut this short and hop to the usual ending, which I think is the most important part – because your encouragement inspires us every day to carry on with this project.

So as always, thank you kindly for all of your fantastic feedback and support.

Best regards,

Savannah

    Thank you for making such an engaging, entertaining story for us to enjoy! :) I’m really looking forward to seeing how chapter 1 ends and discovering what lies ahead.

    Right now, though, I’m mostly concerned with whether Faye was on the correct car when they disconnected them. o.o;

  2. Diodri

    I’m mostly concerned what’s going to go wrong next, because things are working out so well.

    now a piano hits like two feet away from them. sounds right to me with these bunches luck.

    • Faye

      A Piano?! More like… a block of doom! *makes shifty eyes*

      • Animie fan

        Faaaye, what have i told you about dropping blocks of doom on unsuspecting people?… that its incredoubly funny haha. lol

  4. Artificer-Urza

    Told you this was the most efficient way.
    Great to hear about the comic. How are you publishing it?

    • Diodri

      Oh shi- It’s Urza! Run before the plane collapses!

      • Artificer-Urza

        That wasn’t me, that was the Phyrexians, or Mishra or something that was there that was totally not my fault that I can blame.

    • Faye

      I am publishing it through myself! I applied for a Master Buisness License for Amya so that I could claim my travel costs to cons next year, and am now a registered Comic Publisher in Canada… O.o Haha. But I am using Transcontinental for the actual printing part.

      • Artificer-Urza

        That does mean that shipping costs won’t be astronomically high, right?
        Aaaaand *poke poke poke* website design for Anathema?
        If you’re not able to, that’s fine, just don’t leave me in suspense here ^^;

    You are doing an awesome job with this comic. Thank you -very- much for posting it online for us to see, and keep up the good work! The world feels rather developed, even if you are just getting into it. :D

    I recently started reading the comic after seeing the advertisement on “Phoenix Requiem”. The colors and the art caught my attention and I am now hooked on the comic. It’s rare to find a comic that balances humor and action with a serious plot line. I’ll keep checking back for updates!

    • Faye

      Hello Adriana! I’m happy to hear you stumbled across us and have been enjoying the story so far. I hope you continue to do so! Have a great week, and we’ll look forward to hearing from you again.

    Awesome webcomic! I was really hooked when I found out the main character is mute. Should make for some interesting adventures! Keep it up, the artwork is beautiful, and the storyline is addicting! Definitely bookmarked.

    This comic is a really fun read :D . Just the first set of pages set a nice tone for the story and I’m really intrigued as to how things are going to play out. Love the characters and the nice balance of humor, action and suspense — it’s rare to see it done so well :]
